LEADERSHIP AND COMMUNITY BUILDING: Opportunities to share ideas and take the lead in making things happen are integral to the program. In lively interactions, creativity flourishes, ideas become refined and negotiation skills are honed. There is room for everyone’s voice, loud or soft, big or small. Kids receive useful feedback about what it takes to achieve a desired goal. They also gain an important sense of belonging in the community and come to know what it takes to generate success.

KID-POWERED ACTIVITIES, CLASSES AND EVENTS: We emphasize choice and self-direction. Each day of the session we’ll meet as a group to make plans, prioritize activities and assess interests.
